NSWGGA Donates Intermac Master 23 CNC machine to Glass & Glazing Section of Lidcombe College

The NSWGGA members gathered with TAFE officials, staff and The Honorable Barbara Perry MP, member for Auburn, on March 24th 2010 for a ceremony to official hand over the Intermac Master 23 CNC machine. The machine was donated by the NSWGGA with the help of Intermac Australia, Dennis & Leslie Loudoun (Bevelite), Sydney Glass & Bent & Curved Glass.

Minister Perry accepted the donation on behalf of TAFE from NSWGGA President Joe Finn and acknowledged the generosity of this donation from industry and importance of TAFE and industry working together to improve the outcomes for apprentices and the industry as a whole.

The addition of the CNC machine makes Glass & Glazing Section of Lidcombe College the best equipped facility for teaching the trade in Australia.
